I grew up dreaming of exploration and of creating

It was a frightening and exciting leap to leave my home in Stockholm to go to the big city of London, to make my photography dreams come true. I became a passionate teller of stories, an absorber of people’s energy and a champion of their memories. For the past decade I have traveled all over the world to capture stories, celebrations, extraordinary people and exceptional brands in jaw-dropping locations. I consider myself very lucky indeed.

In Sweden, life centres around light

We celebrate both the longest and shortest day of the year, with food, drink, song and togetherness. A log fire and a lit candle always evokes a sense of home, transporting me back to childhood days enthralled by musical voices, the feeling of safety and trust, or running around bountiful forests gathering blueberries for a crumble.

The abundance of light - or the lack of it - greatly influence my work. Dawn and dusk, night and day, darkness and light, the seasons changing. Light takes on a multitude of qualities which play with our emotions. It is a powerful tool in storytelling.

My work is rooted in a connection to nature

I believe the experiences we share with our family, our friends and our loved ones can make some of our most valuable memories. I believe being photographed can be one of the most empowering experiences.

I have my family and two homes in London and in Stockholm.
